I cycled from Land's End to John O'Groats in April–May 2009. I took in some other extremities of this Sceptred Isle, The Lizard (S), Ardnamurchan Point (W), Cape Wrath (NW), Dunnet Head (N), Duncansby Head (NE), Cape Cornwall (Britain's other Cape) and possibly the Orkneys. 20 days was enough to cover the 1,304 miles and 100,000ft of hills. I'm raised funds for CORD a charity that helps people to rebuild their lives after conflict and NOTDEC which supports an orphanage in Uganda.

Hi Richard, I hope I find you well if a little windswept and wet. How are the legs holding up to the daily mileage. I am a little envious of the ride. I catch up with you later in the week.
ReplyDeleteHi Richard,
ReplyDeleteWe met you in the hostel at Treyarnon last night. Thought of you today as we cycled along the Camel trail to Bodmin with our two boys. Couldn´t catch you, so turned round at Bodmin and headed back to Padstow! Ran into some heavy rain as we drove across the moor back to Exeter mid pm and thought of you again. Hopefully you are relaxing in the YHA in Okehampton as I write this. Good luck with the rest of your journey. Nick.
